An emprical study to investigate the size of non-governmental organizations in OECD countries

This study aimed to analyze the factors affecting size of non-governmental organizations (NGOs) from a multinational perspective. Empirical analyses were conducted through econometric modeling, and data 17 countries 2003 2019 used. The was obtained World Bank OECD database. We used advanced panel estimation techniques (CUP-FM CUP-BC) obtain long-run coefficients. GDP per Capita, general government final consumption expenditure, adult education at tertiary level, Gini index growth declined grants by private agencies NGOs? contribution (GinGDP) initially but after threshold GinGDP increased with later stages these variables. Urban population growth, employment, foreign have reducing effect on NGOs. NGOs has bidirectional causality relationship between capita, employment ratio, index; unidirectional urban population.
